The Health Planning Council of Southwest Florida is the lead agency in Charlotte, Collier, DeSoto, Glades, Hendry, Lee and Sarasota counties for three programs that work to improve the lives of people living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHA):
- Ryan White Part B providing core medical and supplemental care for PLWHA
- Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS helping to meet the housing needs of PLWHA
- ADAP Premium Plus providing assistance to allow the continuation of medical, dental, mental health and optical coverage for PLWHA.
