Early Steps Bilingual Infant Toddler Developmental Specialist (CONTRACT)
The Early Steps Program supports families and children with developmental delays building competence and confidence of parents and caregivers to support their child’s development. As an Infant Toddler Developmental Specialist you will work with a team of professionals to deliver early intervention services to families in their natural environment. Children birth to three years of age with developmental delays can qualify for this program and there are no income eligibility requirements. We are looking for a passionate person to join our team in Lee, Collier or Hendry Counties. We will assist you in obtaining your state certification as an Infant Toddler Developmental Specialist and with some preliminary training prior to contracting with us to provide services.
Requirements: A degree in Early Childhood education, counseling or closely related field and an extensive knowledge of early childhood development. The ability to work as a team member and to communicate effectively with people. Knowledge of adult learning and coaching methods is also required. Services are delivered in the child’s natural environment so a drivers license and vehicle is required. For this contracted position we are looking for a dedicated candidate who is passionate about delivering evidence based early intervention to children and families. Early Steps Physical Therapist (CONTRACT)
At the Health Planning Council of Southwest Florida, we believe that every family has the power to help their children reach their potential. We support families through Early Steps, the Florida Early Intervention Program, using transdisciplinary teams to ensure every family has the best evidence based services available. If you share these values and would like to join one of our early intervention teams we would like to speak to you.
Experience in early intervention is preferred but not necessary, our teams offer training and support through a workplace mentorship program. We offer billing support for therapists who work as independent contractors.
