The Health Planning Council of Southwest Florida, Inc. works to promote cost-effective, quality health services for the people of Southwest Florida.
We strive to be the preferred provider for health-related information and data and a resource for health programs and services in our community.
At HPCSWF, we collect and analyze health care data, identify health care needs and resources; and work with our community partners to improve access to affordable, quality health care services for our most vulnerable residents in Charlotte, Collier, Lee, Hendry, Glades and Sarasota counties.
We are the lead agency in SW Florida for three programs working to improve the lives of people living with HIV/AIDS: Ryan White Part B for medical & supplemental care; Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS for housing needs; & AIDS Insurance Continuation Program to maintain insurance coverage.
Early Steps is an early intervention program serving children ages 0-3 with developmental delays or disabilities, and their families, at home and in their communities in SW Florida (Collier, Lee, Glades & Hendry) and Gulf Central (Charlotte, DeSoto, Manatee, Highlands, Hardee & Sarasota).
